The PRISM Group has an immediate opening for an Interaction Designer for our client in the Boulder area. This is a direct hire opportunity with our client. Below are the details. If interested please send a word resume and a good time to talk.

The title is Interaction Designer and basically this is a user interface designer who is experienced with scoping, mocking up, and designing interfaces for Web 2.0 - style web applications, in particular online community experience is preferred. Photoshop and Illustrator visual design skills are essential. CSS and Javascript skills are optional.

Requirements Essential Qualifications

* Passion for interaction design, user experience and usability, applied to solving large community design problems
* Knowledge of the web and experience designing interfaces for "Web 2.0" applications
* Proven track record of designing brilliant UI interactions that make large amounts of data easily and intuitively accessible, as well as expose powerful functionality without overwhelming the user
* Advanced to Expert skills in Photoshop and Illustrator
* Excellent analytical, oral, written, and visual communication skills
* Ability to collaborate actively & effectively on multidisciplinary teams

Desired Qualifications

· Bachelors degree (BFA preferred) in interaction design, graphic design or related field.

· 3 or more years experience in User Interface Design, Information Design, and Design for large online communities

* Knowledge and ability to create CSS styling and HTML markup to spec
* Knowledge of JavaScript, especially jQuery
