Volt's client is an established advertising agency in Denver, CO. They
have an IMMEDIATE need for an experienced Information Architect with
advertising agency experience.
Overview:
Work with internal staff and clients to translate business, functional
and design requirements into rich interactive experiences. This role is
key in bringing together creative, technical architecture and usability
design into consumer centric interfaces. Be responsible for the
development of information architecture documentation, presentation of
these documents to clients and overall leading the project from an
information design perspective. This position reports directly to the
Vice President of Interactive Services.
Requirements:
* 5+ years experience developing interactive projects.
* 5+ years experience as an information architect, interaction
designer, or experience designer.
* Degree in a related field, such as technical communications,
human-computer interaction, graphic design or computer science.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Experience working directly with clients to determine needs.
* Experience working in a creative agency developing promotional
sites and e-commerce shopping sites.
* Proven ability to influence a team in a matrix environment.
* Solid understanding of web technology.
* Strong understanding of test plans and how to incorporate
testing feedback into user design.
* Ability and experience conducting user experience testing and
compiling testing documentation with actionable results.
* Must have knowledge of information architecture tools,
specifically: Omnigraffle, MS Visio, and MS Office. Experience using
Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
* Solid understanding of analytics and how to incorporate
measurement into a user design.
* Must have a solid portfolio of information architecture and
requirements documents upon interview.
Out of state candidates will be considered - relocation assistance
provided.
Will initially do a phone interview, then if all goes well; our client
will bring you to Denver for an in-person interview.
